IT.SCHEISS AT KLIA

WHILST it took several hundreds of violent black clad "pro-democracy" rioters who occupied Hong Kong's Chek Lap Kok Airport to disrupt flights and passenger movement,  closer to home a problem with the Internet connection and flight check-in systems at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) main terminal and KLIA2 low-cost carrier terminal since the night of 21st August 2019 has affected several airport systems such as the WiFi connection, flight information display, check-in counters and baggage handling systems, as well as the delay of 20 flights and rendered the MYairpors mobile application inoperable.

As of  16:28 hours or 2.28 pm on 22 August 2019, there's no news as to whether the source and location of the Internet break down - whether within the airport's internal local area network or in the external Internet connection -  has been identified. 

Around 2.30 pm on 22 August 2019, The Malay Mail reported.
